The final print -- but an easy one to select -- is a High Dynamic Range (HDR) print of a bedroom scene in a restored Louisiana plantation home. I've attempted to capture this scene many times

With HDR, several different exposures are made for the same scene. In this picture, seven exposures were used. These seven shots were combined with special software and further processed in Photoshop. The resulting image looks a bit strange but I like it very much. Many people believe that this is a photograph of a painting.
Project completed!

Hi Gordon,
I found my way to your blog via everyone’s favorite, The Online Photographer. You’re doing some very nice work, I especially like your HDR in this post. I’ve been meaning to dabble in that myself for a long time and have some images pending. Are you using a special piece of software or just Photoshop? I bought HDRsoft's Photomatix Pro, but haven’t tried it yet. What type of equipment do you use? Please visit me at http://writtenbythelight.blogspot.com/ and shoot me an e-mail. I’d like to write a brief mention about you.
